In the 6thth minute of the game Henk Veerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galja Kraków's Bogdan Marek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Zbyszek Pawelczyk scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Trulsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Galja Kraków's Phillipe Lache got a free kick in the 10th minute. Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zbyszek Pawelczyk came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Galja Kraków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Pawelczyk couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Marek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 16th minute of play. Zbyszek Pawelczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Trulsson having to make a save. If Zbyszek Pawelczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Zbyszek Pawelczyk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Trulsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. David Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Pawelczyk in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Trulsson saved Älta BK from getting behind. Bogdan Marek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 34th minute of play. Bogdan Marek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Älta BK were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Galja Kraków's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theo Lucius took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Theo Lucius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bogdan Marek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 43 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Pawelczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. David Trulsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbyszek Pawelczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ernest Faber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älta BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galja Kraków the free kick. In the 51st minute, Ernest Faber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Pawelczyk took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Trulsson. David Trulsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a little luck, Galja Kraków's Bogdan Marek got control of the ball when Henk Veerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk in the 60th minute of play. Älta BK made a substitution. Henning Gulliksson replaced Björn van der Doelen. A sloppy throw-in by Ernest Faber in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galja Kraków's Zdzislaw Trynda. Zbyszek Pawelczyk struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. David Trulsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galja Kraków. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Veerman got free with Bogdan Marek in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Henk Veerman could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Bogdan Marek however easily saved by the left post. Galja Kraków's Bogdan Marek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Älta BK booed when Galja Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillipe Lache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Älta BK made a substitution. Alfons Gregersson replaced Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. In the 75th minute, Phillipe Lache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Galja Kraków's Zbyszek Pawelczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Trulsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Galja Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillipe Lache to maneuver through the defense. If Zbyszek Pawelczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Trulsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Galja Kraków's Zbyszek Pawelczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Trulsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Älta BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
