If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Yu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Sanches. Jardel Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Ulises Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiph Biörling was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Grêmio FBPA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Yu in the 22nd minute of the match. Pipis Karapatakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Grondzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Roch Grondzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. In the 37th match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Argenis to maneuver through the defense. Darío Pereyra hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Balc, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The corner led Stone City's Esteve Argenis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jardel Sanches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Grêmio FBPA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stone City were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pipis Karapatakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Pavel Balc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Stone City's Tasos Fasoulas was substituted for Pavel Balc. 67 minutes into the match, Stone City's Tasos Fasoulas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stone City's Albino Millano was substituted for Ulises Curcio. With a little luck, Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches got control of the ball when Tasos Fasoulas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roch Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Biörling in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Stone City booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Estevon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tasos Fasoulas in the 77th minute. After 80 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Albino Millano. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roch Grondzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Grêmio FBPA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stone City's performance. The match ended with a win for Stone City.
