After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Mancini's zone, Alex Enoaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonsalve Flores came out of the goal and Alex Enoaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadir Celilay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Turgay Şeren came out and tried to block the shot, but Kadir Celilay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Golden Generation made a substitution. Yorrick Hekman replaced Toni Delgado. Gonsalve Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Enoaia in the 39th minute of play. U.D. The Golden Generation supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Generation would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
