Dobri Koks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Machado came free, but Dobri Koks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Tuncaral kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Edílson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Emilio Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobri Koks was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Fifth Chicken got a freekick which was hit by Edílson Souza. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edílson Souza was the one to do the kick off. Edílson Souza scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Donciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Caetano Linares fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Werneck FC - DMZ's protests and gave Caetano Linares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Luz was substituted for Sebastian Kiszkiel. In the 59th minute, Caetano Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fu Ting Nan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dobri Koks made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Laerte Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Porto to maneuver through the defense. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edílson Souza in the 80th minute of play. Felix Donciu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fifth Chicken's Waldemar Tipinski. But to his dismay, Waldemar Tipinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Fifth Chicken's Dobri Koks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Luz in the 85th minute of play. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edílson Souza in the 86th minute of play. Fifth Chicken's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krzysztof Dziewedik in the 87th minute. Werneck FC - DMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
