The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stelian Hortopan was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ernest Legg managed to get in a good position for a shot. F. C. Solitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Legg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Vedholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Solitario booed when Black Diamond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Giugiuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Ernest Legg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Diamond's Dick Vedholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F. C. Solitario had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
