Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Mees kicked off to start the match. Frank Mees made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gerardo McMillan immediately put the ball in play. When Laureano Pinillos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Austral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Pinillos couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, Austral FC's Jerold Grijalba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gábor Király made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The throw-in from Duda Imperatore in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Austral FC's Laureano Pinillos. Frank Mees fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 25th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. 32 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Grijalba came free, but Gábor Király reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerold Grijalba in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gábor Király prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Austral FC were awarded a corner. Nisio Iturmendi went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ricardo Temporal hit a great ball. Damaso Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo McMillan in the 42nd minute of the match. Nisio Iturmendi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Damaso Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Antal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerold Grijalba was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Mees. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Grijalba in the 59th minute of play. Austral FC's Damaso Hurko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Austral FC from getting a goal against them. After 69 played minutes Frank Mees rounded Austral FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. FC Henter Somosd made a substitution. Bart van Goetsenhoven replaced Arnd Schade. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo McMillan got free with Damaso Hurko in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Jerold Grijalba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gábor Király was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. FC Henter Somosd's Ulises Ugaitz was substituted for Tamás Antal. Damaso Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Ugaitz in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Tylinski got free with Damaso Hurko in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Ulises Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Hurko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Nisio Iturmendi. Austral FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Henter Somosd for a fine match.
