It was Derlis Florentin who took care of the corner kick. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Caskinha Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patryk Sikora hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Artur Campidelis got a free kick in the 30th minute. Patryk Sikora charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patryk Sikora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Red Reign's Lopez Portanares got a free kick in the 40th minute. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 42nd minute of play. Patryk Sikora got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves got control of the ball when Maximo Villamarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Ratulowski having to interfere. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 62nd minute of play. Maximo Villamarin took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Neves. Leandro Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Tróia. Red Reign's Xosepe Villamizar was substituted for Derlis Florentin. Caskinha Esporte Clube made a substitution. Evaristo Ortiz replaced Wang Sen Jian. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Betinho de Sousa was substituted for Thor Vennerdal. In the 72nd minute Iván Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Red Reign's Pablo Beloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Neves. Leandro Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Iván Zamorano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dawid Ratulowski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Zamorano in the 83rd minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Red Reign were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Caskinha Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zigor Ardanza took the corner. Pablo Beloso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Red Reign's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zigor Ardanza in the 89th minute. The corner led Red Reign's Zigor Ardanza to fire away a dangerous shot which Leandro Neves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 91st minute, Iván Zamorano made a precise shot to the right of Dawid Ratulowski. Red Reign's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Iván Zamorano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Caskinha Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iván Zamorano couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Red Reign eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
