In the 12th minute, Luiz Eduardo Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dawid Ratulowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luiz Eduardo Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dawid Ratulowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Eduardo Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Caskinha Esporte Clube defense, Maximo Villamarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Neves. The Caskinha Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Neves should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leandro Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Villamarin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia. Luiz Eduardo Tróia struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dawid Ratulowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Red Reign's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caskinha Esporte Clube the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Ximun Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Betinho de Sousa was substituted for Thor Vennerdal. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Beloso. Iván Zamorano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dawid Ratulowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iván Zamorano in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Iván Zamorano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dawid Ratulowski. That made the score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gilberto dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Red Reign from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
