With a couple of smart ball manuevers Máximo Kirchner in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esen Sanal saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lei Feng Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters rose to their feet, but Lei Feng Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
