After 38 minutes of play, SC Pfullendorf's Miguel Rodríguez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolf Skarsø was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Argyris Zagorakis got free with Rolf Skarsø in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Corna during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Fc Molina di Quosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Corna to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Fc Molina di Quosa's Edoardo Corna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Corna in the 77th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's Edoardo Corna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kıvanç Yücesan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
