Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Magallanes's Juan Mondaca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Campbell to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Victor Velloso. Caetano da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Dessauer in the 8th minute of play. Alejandro Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Velloso in the 11th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Mondaca scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Velloso who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ciro Elija got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 62nd minute Ciro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Witkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Mondaca in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magallanes's Christiano Soffia was substituted for Alejandro Campbell. Magallanes made a substitution. Kadim Sebil replaced Juan Mondaca. A well-hit corner resulted in Anacleto Dessauer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them.
