The audience thought a goal was coming when Argyris Zagorakis got free with Paul Christini in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Pfullendorf's Kıvanç Yücesan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heleno de Freitas in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Argyris Zagorakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Christini was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Argyris Zagorakis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Christini saved Edson Futebol Clube from getting behind. When Edson Futebol Clube's Heleno de Freitas in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pfullendorf's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when SC Pfullendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Moya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kıvanç Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Fontes in the 19th minute of the match. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Rodríguez in the 25th minute of play. Paul Christini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Zagorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıvanç Yücesan having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Christini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kıvanç Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Hulk in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Miguel Rodríguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pfullendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Rodríguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Christini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Heleno de Freitas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ernesto Fontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kıvanç Yücesan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 56 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Heleno de Freitas came free, but Kıvanç Yücesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kong Guo Chong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson Futebol Clube's Tuncay Şanlı was substituted for Dumitru Albulescu. SC Pfullendorf's Czeslaw Wallach was substituted for Karel Van Den Abeele. In the 74th minute, Tao Xing Yong sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pfullendorf's Kıvanç Yücesan didn't even have to move. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rodríguez in the 80th minute of play. Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭森银 in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edson Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Moya was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Pfullendorf's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Hussein Bellido managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 84 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Hulk. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭森银 in the 90th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game 彭森银 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, 彭森银 notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini. Paul Christini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The SC Pfullendorf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edson Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
