In the 7th minute, Gasteiz Latorre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jermaine Richmond was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jermaine Richmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gasteiz Latorre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Gasteiz Latorre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gasteiz Latorre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gasteiz Latorre in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gasteiz Latorre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jermaine Richmond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Marco Aguirre got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervin Huber in the 16th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana got control of the ball when Sung McKinley tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Salvino Masses got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Merlin Castro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremy Avellana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Jeremy Avellana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30thth minute of the game Gasteiz Latorre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gasteiz Latorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 34th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Trasloseros kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Sung McKinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merlin Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jeremy Avellana made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Sung McKinley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jeremy Avellana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jermaine Richmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gasteiz Latorre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merlin Castro to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Hu Wei Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hu Wei Shu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Avellana having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Celso Trasloseros got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Anthon Öberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jermaine Richmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Öberg in the 69th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Öberg in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Richmond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Paulíny came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Avellana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merlin Castro's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Anthon Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jermaine Richmond made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthon Öberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jermaine Richmond. That made the score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. Khachatryan made a substitution. Tigran Kirakosyan replaced Sung McKinley. In the 84th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bin Baresi to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Anthon Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tigran Kirakosyan in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Tigran Kirakosyan came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Yost's late challenge caught a Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Yost helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Khachatryan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s goal.
