After 13 minutes of play, Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Sarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlton Boothroyd went to the cornerflag to take it. After 32 minutes Samurai Champions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlton Boothroyd who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlton Boothroyd got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Márcio de Brito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pepe Sarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 34th minute of the match. Pepe Sarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Amílton Cordeiro got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KF Ballistet's zone, Peter Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Sarro came out of the goal and Peter Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Danilo Barrionuevo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Rosario in the 60th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Peter Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai Champions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, KF Ballistet's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Recife came free, but Pepe Sarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Pepo De La Vega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Márcio de Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 77 minutes, Cido Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Sarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, KF Ballistet's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Recife came free, but Pepe Sarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Samurai Champions FC were victorious despite being under pressure from KF Ballistet for much of the match.
