Rene Pueblo made a great header on Cascadia United's corner, it was just that Saco FC's Phillip Glerum managed to reach the ball for a save. Linus Resentvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leonel Rocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Resentvig made a kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rene Pueblo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cascadia United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cascadia United's Rene Pueblo to fire away a dangerous shot which Phillip Glerum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Linus Resentvig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Rocco was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Saco FC were awarded a corner. Denis Cordera went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Arrigo Rossi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonel Rocco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cascadia United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
