Jan Malm went to the cornerflag to take it. 8 minutes into the game, SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio de Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Márcio de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SSC Ambrosini's Marcus Kilman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elpidio Bidun in the 24 minute of the game. If Peter Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Peter Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Glanselius. SSC Ambrosini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Glanselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Samurai Champions FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after SSC Ambrosini's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Santos took the corner. Luís Eduardo Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Glanselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the match, Peter Santos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius. Aaron Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Möllgren came free, but Márcio de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Romaşcanu to maneuver through the defense. Samurai Champions FC made a substitution. Cido Recife replaced Peter Santos. After 79 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Romaşcanu. In the 80th minute Jan Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Möllgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio de Brito having to interfere. SSC Ambrosini's Magnus Fribäck was substituted for Christer Lundin. Aaron Glanselius came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife. But to his dismay, Cido Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the SSC Ambrosini defense, Cido Recife kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Glanselius. The SSC Ambrosini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Glanselius should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Samurai Champions FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
