Peter Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Rocco having to make a save. The throw-in from Valentín Pascal in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cascadia United's Tamás Lovas. If Wang Di Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Márcio de Brito, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Santos in the 27th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cascadia United made a substitution. Constantino Neto replaced Abel Neron. Wang Di Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio de Brito having to interfere. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Cido Recife reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Rocco. The goal made the score 1-1. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Recife in the 81st minute of play. The throw-in from Rene Pueblo in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samurai Champions FC's Șerban Bărbânță. In the 86th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Di Yi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Cascadia United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Rocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Șerban Bărbânță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
