Miguel Ángel Benito might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Glanselius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ángel Benito ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Benito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes in the game Björn Hage did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcus Kilman. Henrik Möllgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Rocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Henrik Möllgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Wang Di Yi hit a great ball. Aaron Glanselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Ángel Benito went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascadia United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius. Aaron Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Christer Lundin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SSC Ambrosini's protests and gave Christer Lundin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Christer Lundin hit a great ball. Christer Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Rocco having to interfere. Cascadia United's Baltasar Piorno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcus Kilman in the 45 minute of the game. Aaron Glanselius came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Benito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ángel Benito to strike the kick off in the second half. Iván Pillud lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cascadia United:s Leonel Rocco showed great skill when he stopped Jan Malm:s penalty. In the 66th minute, Justino Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lacy Ericsson in the 74th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Möllgren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Baltasar Piorno got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wang Di Yi. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match SSC Ambrosini got a corner. Cascadia United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Malm ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 86th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Hage to maneuver through the defense. Jan Malm hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute SSC Ambrosini were awarded a corner. Jan Malm went to the cornerflag to take it. The Cascadia United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
