Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai Champions FC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Inautzi. 11 minutes into the game, Peter Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Gagriel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Márcio de Brito came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Everardo Milian. But to his dismay, Everardo Milian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Cordeiro in the 21st minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio de Brito made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Guaberto Inautzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jem Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luís Eduardo Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai Champions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Peter Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Gagriel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jem Jajecznica in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Márcio de Brito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jem Jajecznica got free with Márcio de Brito in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Samurai Champions FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Amadeo Lope was substituted for Rosendo Gervaso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Santos in the 55th minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Karl-Ove Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. D.J. 杨广 hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Samurai Champions FC's Alfredo Di Cintio was substituted for Amílton Cordeiro. After 61 played minutes Samurai Champions FC got a freekick which was hit by D.J. 杨广. With a little luck, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Marcelo Gagriel got control of the ball when Cido Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. Márcio de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Karl-Ove Sörman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Amadeo Lope heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Amadeo Lope with Guaberto Inautzi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's zone, Cido Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gagriel came out of the goal and Cido Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Heriberto came free, but Márcio de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Amadeo Lope in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samurai Champions FC's Șerban Bărbânță. The throw-in from Guaberto Inautzi in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samurai Champions FC's Alfredo Di Cintio. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Milian in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
