Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) New England Minas's Edgardo Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Edgardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miki Moco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jörgen Frohm made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Glen Conklin immediately put the ball in play. After 17 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Frohm. Miki Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 20th minute of play. Zhao Peng Yi scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremy Nicholas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Freezerpool FC's Zhao Peng Yi. But to his dismay, Zhao Peng Yi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Peng Yi in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Freezerpool FC defense, Edgardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miki Moco. The Freezerpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miki Moco should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miki Moco having to make a save. The supporters of Freezerpool FC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 58 minutes, Lucio Cebo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freezerpool FC and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucio Cebo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Alperen Öksüz. After 60 played minutes Freezerpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Cebo. Xiao Bang Kun got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tio Lio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 62nd minute of play forced Freezerpool FC's goalkeeper Miki Moco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Xiao Bang Kun got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Zhao Peng Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Xiao Bang Kun in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Freezerpool FC's Lucio Cebo. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Barco in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Freezerpool FC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Sito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
