Fidel Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Leo in the 22nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Peter Mpenza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Mpenza in the 68th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Fidel Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Mpenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Mala FC's Doriva Jacinto was substituted for Gilbert Jaworski. After some careless play in the Mala FC defense, Márcio Seabra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Sauveur. The Mala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Sauveur should have stopped the shot. After 94 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Márcio Seabra made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Sauveur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Seabra in the 98th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Canarinho Atordoado had played much better football throughout.
