An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Leo in the 7th minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Enzo Uzuri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincenty Bucyki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dé Mello made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Arsenio Erico took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dé Mello to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute of the match, Arsenio Erico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dé Mello was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Sportivo Constitución getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fabio Perez hit a great ball. Dé Mello made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ciriaco Medardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, Sportivo Constitución was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Constitución's zone, Teodoro Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Uzuri came out of the goal and Teodoro Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Canarinho Atordoado's Dé Mello got control of the ball when Arsenio Erico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dé Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Constitución's zone, Luiz Leo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Uzuri came out of the goal and Luiz Leo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Uzuri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teo Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Teodoro Jacinto came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enzo Uzuri could save by the left post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Norberto Theodore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canarinho Atordoado's Dé Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Uzuri made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Luiz Leo sent off a good shot on target. Enzo Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Norberto Theodore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Márcio Seabra scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Uzuri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Sportivo Constitución's Godofredo Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Isaias Sasoin made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Norberto Theodore. In the 93rd minute Arsenio Erico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
