An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 7th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Jolan Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Jolan Galindo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Joe Herring in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Joe Herring received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jolan Galindo came out and tried to block the shot, but Joe Herring slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Roch Felenak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jolan Galindo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 24th minute Roch Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Felenak in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Lodge saved Valencia C.F. from getting behind. In the 25th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Bean to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Josué Pagueguy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Roch Felenak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Joe Herring made a precise shot to the right of Jolan Galindo. La Pointe Courte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 39 minutes into the match, Joe Herring notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo. Jolan Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Roch Felenak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Lidström in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valencia C.F.'s Ricardo Arias. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joe Herring made a kick off. Joe Herring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Felenak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Joe Herring cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jolan Galindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roch Felenak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, La Pointe Courte's Jerry Lodge threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roch Felenak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jolan Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Gianluca Prestin got a free kick in the 66th minute. La Pointe Courte's Pawel Harendarski was substituted for Alejo Alonso. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Gilbert Thellier replaced Alain Girault. La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite was substituted for Roch Felenak. 70 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Leite. La Pointe Courte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Josué Pagueguy in the 73rd minute. Jolan Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Yves Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuan Wei Han sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Ivan Lidström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Joe Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Herring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jolan Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerry Lodge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jolan Galindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Valencia C.F. made a substitution. Florentin Gougeon replaced Joe Herring. Yves Leite took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Lodge. Jerry Lodge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2.
