The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norbert Dombroski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Stoica in the 5th minute of play. Henri-Patrick De Mare was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Emanuel Bento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Bento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Wisła Białogard's Norbert Dombroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 16th minute of play. Norbert Dombroski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oyedeji Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Oyedeji Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Podowski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 31st minute of play forced Wisła Białogard's goalkeeper Norbert Dombroski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Brysz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Henri-Patrick De Mare made a huge save. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Bento in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Vieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Dombroski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Vieri ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jerzy Podowski sped through Vc Brye's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henri-Patrick De Mare. In the 46th minute Emanuel Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri-Patrick De Mare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vc Brye from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gabríel Vassaras made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Wisła Białogard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Bento to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oyedeji Rau got free with Norbert Dombroski in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Podowski in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes Vc Brye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Brysz who took care of the corner kick. After 64 played minutes Wisła Białogard got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Zawacki. After a defensive mix-up in Wisła Białogard's zone, Marcio Lacorte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Dombroski came out of the goal and Marcio Lacorte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Dombroski was a little too slow when Ştefan Stoica got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-2. Norbert Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Stoica in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Brysz in the 72nd minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Norbert Dombroski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Podowski in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Milosz Lichorobiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri-Patrick De Mare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Vieri hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Vc Brye made a substitution. Dan Cutean replaced Comunardo Cianci. Vc Brye's Fox 鲁迅 was substituted for Cristian Vieri. After a rather tough play, Vc Brye's Cristian Vieri got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Fox 鲁迅 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Mariano Moya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
