Spectators: 7880 (Terracing: 5911, Seating: 1812, VIP seats: 157) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natalio Guter kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Oyedeji Rau came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Frankfurter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Vieri went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henri-Patrick De Mare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 12th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Vc Brye's Gabríel Vassaras made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Frankfurter was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabríel Vassaras in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Frankfurter saved AQUILES from getting behind. In the 24th minute Natalio Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri-Patrick De Mare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Stoica in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Frankfurter saved AQUILES from getting behind. Frank Frankfurter made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cristian Vieri sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oyedeji Rau in the 35th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Frankfurter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oyedeji Rau's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Frank Frankfurter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Stoica, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. AQUILES's Natalio Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AQUILES's Nicasio Castulo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabríel Vassaras to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Guter came free, but Henri-Patrick De Mare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AQUILES's Giovani Lo Celso was substituted for Pedro Goncalves. AQUILES made a substitution. Esteban Criston replaced Gary Bale. AQUILES's Prospero Fix was substituted for Natalio Guter. After having played for 62 minutes, Esteban Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AQUILES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Prospero Fix sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 66th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Fix struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Henri-Patrick De Mare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AQUILES. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Vassaras in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Vc Brye got a freekick which was hit by Tavs Kirck. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Prospero Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot. AQUILES's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Fix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henri-Patrick De Mare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Stoica in the 80th minute of play. Henri-Patrick De Mare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. AQUILES were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Vc Brye's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Van Mechelen took the corner. The corner ended in Edward Van Mechelen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare did a great save. In the 85th minute, Generoso Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Prospero Fix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AQUILES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Fix got free with Henri-Patrick De Mare in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vc Brye fans cheered their team off the field, for while AQUILES had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
