Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) MOEBIO's Santo Mateus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, MOEBIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Papi Francisco to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Gorka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Savage Hippo got a corner. MOEBIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddie Bjurström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Savage Hippo's Vakaris Daujotas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delmiro Gorka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bengt-Arne Askstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Mateus's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Santo Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Gorka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Grabert in the 25th minute of play. The throw-in from Isidoro Ponce in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius. Edwin Grabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MOEBIO's Delmiro Gorka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulius Pilipavičius in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Savage Hippo were awarded a corner. Eddie Bjurström went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Orestas Mineikis drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind MOEBIO's goalkeeper. In the 37th minute of the game Isidoro Ponce made a throw-in which Leopoldo Fix played forward. Santo Mateus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Grabert to make the kick off. Santo Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goalkeeper Delmiro Gorka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Grabert. Delmiro Gorka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddie Bjurström in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Grabert got free with Delmiro Gorka in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Gorka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Pilipavičius in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmantas Magdišauskas to maneuver through the defense. MOEBIO were furious when Zacarias Serafo was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 76 minutes into the game, one of MOEBIO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Delmiro Gorka, was totally fooled by Savage Hippo's Eddie Bjurström, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Delmiro Gorka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Delmiro Gorka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Grabert in the 90th minute. With a little luck, MOEBIO's Delmiro Gorka got control of the ball when Edwin Grabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goalkeeper Delmiro Gorka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Grabert.
