Bengt-Arne Askstedt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 7th minute Alex Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Grabert in the 10th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Rancaño came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Elenescu in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Edwin Grabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franc Merlot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Maju Vellon with Alex Elenescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Edwin Grabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Savage Hippo from getting a goal against them. Joaquim Matute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Grabert took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franc Merlot. Franc Merlot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when TiGrEs Fx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maju Vellon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Elenescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Franc Merlot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Grabert in the 54th minute of play. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Matute in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Gilberto Rancaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Tomaszewski to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Matute recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Grabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Franc Merlot made a huge save. Edgard Estevez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Grabert in the 70th minute of play forced TiGrEs Fx's goalkeeper Franc Merlot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Rancaño in the 72nd minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Gilberto Rancaño made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Maju Vellon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Grabert got free with Franc Merlot in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute of the match Joaquim Matute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. TiGrEs Fx's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
