Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Turgut Turgut started the match with the kick off. Arkın Gariboğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Wei Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rahim Kornes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Turgut's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Gold Raiders FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ovidiu Buturugã in the 7th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Seraċini Għawdxin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gold Raiders FC:s goal. In the 8th minute, Turgut Turgut made a precise shot to the right of Rahim Kornes. Seraċini Għawdxin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes got control of the ball when Turgut Turgut tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Turgut Turgut took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rahim Kornes to make any attempt to save it. Victor Hugo Basso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Ertaç Budak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Negro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rahim Kornes. Rahim Kornes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Rahim Kornes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Turgut Turgut in the 31st minute. Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Negro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hugo Basso to maneuver through the defense. Rahim Kornes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Turgut Turgut sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gold Raiders FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ovidiu Buturugã hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Song Wei Yun made a kick off. Rahim Kornes came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut. But to his dismay, Turgut Turgut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rahim Kornes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Turgut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Filip Bejrut notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu. Arkın Gariboğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With splendid footwork Fernando Negro arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-2 by the left pole in the game's 70th minute. Rahim Kornes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Turgut in the 74th minute of the match. Song Wei Yun succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 82nd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Song Wei Yun got free with Arkın Gariboğlu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Jostein Røvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seraċini Għawdxin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Raiders FC the free kick. Jostein Røvik kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertaç Budak in the 91st minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Rahim Kornes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Griffin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkın Gariboğlu having to interfere. Gold Raiders FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seraċini Għawdxin for a fine match.
