The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute Gold Raiders FC were awarded a corner. Ovidiu Buturugã went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the match, Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Van Langhendoncx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lunar Park's Derviş Okan got a free kick in the 28th minute. Turgut Turgut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cedric Van Langhendoncx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Fabien Canu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunar Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Canu in the 43rd minute of play forced Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Arkın Gariboğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gold Raiders FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lunar Park were winning 0-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fabien Canu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arkın Gariboğlu. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Fabien Canu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arkın Gariboğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabien Canu ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Arkın Gariboğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabien Canu. After 59 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Taillade. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Hermes in the 69th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mehmet Kornes came free, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Gold Raiders FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Yazid Larnicol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arkın Gariboğlu. The goal made the score 0-5. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertaç Budak in the 84th minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Kornes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dündar Ulucağ made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Abdi Mehmet Kornes.
