The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Modliszewski came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Orfilio Orbañanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateusz Falke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Orfilio Orbañanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateusz Falke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orfilio Orbañanos ran back to his position shaking his head. Orfilio Orbañanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Mateusz Falke made a huge save. Ariel Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Modliszewski in the 19th minute of play. When Pawel Jekot fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wypyszek's protests and gave Pawel Jekot a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes FC Wypyszek got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Jekot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 31st minute of play forced FC Wypyszek's goalkeeper Mateusz Falke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Falke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Orfilio Orbañanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Orfilio Orbañanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateusz Falke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Modliszewski in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Zheng Ning Peng got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Anacleto Ederono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orfilio Orbañanos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateusz Falke firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piotr Modliszewski to make the kick off. Mateusz Falke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 57th minute of play. Damazy Puzio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. U. de Tarapacá made a substitution. Domingo Barcena replaced Orfilio Orbañanos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Barcena in the 70th minute of play forced FC Wypyszek's goalkeeper Mateusz Falke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, FC Wypyszek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Tusk to maneuver through the defense. The U. de Tarapacá fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U. de Tarapacá had played much better football throughout.
