The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Lauro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Vladimiro Lauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fran Guerola having to make a save. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Pontes in the 16th minute of the match. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Vikingos FC got a corner. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gildo Pontes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leif-Eric St. Juste kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Battal Gazi Bey made the kick off in the second half. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Gazi Bey in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vikingos FC defense, Battal Gazi Bey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Sosa. The Vikingos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Sosa should have stopped the shot. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Ladislao Erramu replaced Vladimiro Lauro. Fran Guerola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jailson Barral in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. In the 89th play minute Marek Torm came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fran Guerola. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Vikingos FC's Fran Guerola threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ladislao Erramu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fran Guerola made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Victor Abaurre sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Pontes in the 95th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Victor Abaurre took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fran Guerola. Fran Guerola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vikingos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
