In the 3rd minute Musa Bardakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Guerola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3 minutes into the game, Freestylers's Musa Bardakçı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fran Guerola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 5 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Kielland. After a defensive mix-up in S O B E R A N O CIMZ's zone, Leo Pietro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fran Guerola came out of the goal and Leo Pietro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesc Freixes made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Hortêncio Rosa. Cesc Freixes got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filip Joks. The throw-in from Olli Schütz in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Åke Kilman. In the 25th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Battal Gazi Bey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuan Lei Jing having to make a save. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Gazi Bey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Musa Bardakçı got a free kick in the 38th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Battal Gazi Bey to strike the kick off in the second half. Fran Guerola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Evarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Yuan Lei Jing made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Battal Gazi Bey sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Freestylers booed when S O B E R A N O CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Cesc Freixes got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, Freestylers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesc Freixes to maneuver through the defense. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Abstreiter in the 74th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Matthias Büssinger made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Gildo Pontes was substituted for Dito Guedes. Yuan Lei Jing was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gildo Pontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 79 minute of play. Yuan Lei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Matthias Büssinger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fran Guerola was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Yuan Lei Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Matthias Büssinger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Fran Guerola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Hortêncio Rosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuan Lei Jing. That made the score 5-3 after 94 minutes of play. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
