Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinson Haaland made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Real Cobrinha FR got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Gargano. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Cristian Ieltxu took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gianluigi Pagliuca to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute, Serginho da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Real Cobrinha FR's Gianluigi Pagliuca got control of the ball when Cristian Ieltxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Ieltxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Pagliuca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Edinson Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cobrinha FR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinson Haaland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Inocencio Lastur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluigi Pagliuca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 76th minute of the match, Inocencio Lastur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gianluigi Pagliuca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Gargano in the 79th minute of play forced TORQUE F.C.'s goalkeeper Sébastien Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Cristian Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the TORQUE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TORQUE F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
