The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Aleksander Kissel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Bernal. In the 6th minute, FA Sandtown's Aleksander Kissel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Bernal. Valentin Bernal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Giovani Correia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Morningstar in the 16th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Bernal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Larsson in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Lucio Morningstar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Trzaskoma was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 25th minute Aleksander Kissel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Brandon Norton threw the ball into play from the sideline. FA Sandtown's Witomir Domamir quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Monico made a kick off. FA Sandtown's attentive Witomir Domamir managed to snatch the ball when Téo Matorin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. When Tonko Jelovica fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FA Sandtown's protests and gave Tonko Jelovica a yellow card for diving instead. Tonko Jelovica kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Paulo Dracena was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes was substituted for Zé Carlos Madureira. Benoit Van Bettenrode struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Valentin Bernal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FA Sandtown. After 92 minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ludomil Narbut who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ludomil Narbut got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valentin Bernal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 94 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FA Sandtown.
