The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zachariasz Maziarz. 6 minutes into the game, Kauan Mota threw the ball into play from the sideline. Palestra do Interior's Eugênio Alagoano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 8th minute, Zachariasz Maziarz made a precise shot to the right of Allan Varela. Palestra do Interior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Juszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wincent Juszkowski took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Varela. Allan Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 17th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Zangari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wincent Juszkowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. Zachariasz Maziarz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save. Kauan Mota made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wincent Juszkowski. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariasz Maziarz in the 31st minute of play. Allan Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wincent Juszkowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 32 minute of play. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Maziarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ernani Velasco hit a great ball. Wincent Juszkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincent Juszkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Fc Śrem Team's Wincent Juszkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachariasz Maziarz was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lago got free with Christian Zangari in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Juszkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Paulo Godoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Godoi got free with Christian Zangari in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Magno was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Fc Śrem Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Magno to maneuver through the defense. Palestra do Interior's Reynaldo Sena was substituted for Vitório Lago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Sergipano in the 67th minute of play forced Fc Śrem Team's goalkeeper Christian Zangari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Śrem Team's zone, Herbert Pankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Zangari came out of the goal and Herbert Pankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percival Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Christian Zangari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Christian Zangari made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Percival Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Jacek Krzynowek took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Varela. Allan Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Christian Zangari was a little too slow when Percival Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palestra do Interior players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Śrem Team.
