An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Opilano in the 7th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Björklund made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alberto-Federico Acosta immediately put the ball in play. 12 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when M. Agus Young came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nemesio Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 27th minute. Carabata Groove were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Santa Lucia de Merlo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustaw Ludzia took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gustaw Ludzia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norberto Tino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Carabata Groove's Nemesio Opilano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Tino. Norberto Tino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Nemesio Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Carabata Groove made a substitution. Hermengildo Bazkoare replaced Alberto-Federico Acosta. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when M. Agus Young stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Goito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute of the match Santa Lucia de Merlo got a corner. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Tino should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Bernard in the 82nd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hauk Hareide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
