Henry Roos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Augusto Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Janich Sodborg had great luck who in the 7thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jude Monkhouse from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Janich Sodborg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anderson Paiva in the 10th minute. The nice shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 10thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Janich Sodborg had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Eduardo Alcântara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Janich Sodborg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Orxata I Fartons's Henry Roos in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Várzea F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henry Roos came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Roos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Orxata I Fartons were awarded a corner. Romeo Pio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Orxata I Fartons's corner Romeo Pio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Augusto Quintal quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Delmiro Licerio in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Orxata I Fartons's Henry Roos. Rogério Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Janich Sodborg made a huge save. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Orxata I Fartons from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henry Roos came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janich Sodborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson Paiva got free with Janich Sodborg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Roos in the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Roos to make the kick off. Henry Roos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Augusto Quintal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 55th minute of play forced Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Delmiro Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janich Sodborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paiva in the 59th minute of play. Henry Roos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto Quintal having to make a save. Henry Roos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Quintal made a huge save. In the 64th minute Rogério Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janich Sodborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Várzea F.C.'s Daniel Isăceanu was substituted for João Francisco Tande. Orxata I Fartons made a substitution. Donatello Estrada replaced 李永乐 á Bø. Carlos Augusto Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zarando Manrique went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Janich Sodborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Zarando Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Manrique came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Pio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orxata I Fartons's Romeo Pio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
