Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 9th minute of the match. Mano Hume was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Andy Cole capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andy Cole really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 16th minute, Andy Cole reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mano Hume. The goal made the score 2-1. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The throw-in from Clemente Moura in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Utopía Muerta FC's Radoslaw Klocko. With a little luck, Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume got control of the ball when Andy Cole tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egun Pais came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Arkadiusz Piatek. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Piatek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Martinez in the 34th minute of play. Mano Hume was a little too slow when Andy Cole got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gernando Rocha hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkadiusz Piatek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Hector Bazkoare got a free kick in the 51st minute. 55 minutes in the game, Fermin Martinez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Severo Bermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Bermudo ran back to his position shaking his head. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Floresta Negra FC from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Andy Cole had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mano Hume. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 86th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egun Pais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Utopía Muerta FC got a corner. Floresta Negra FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Martinez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Braulio Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Egun Pais made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Egun Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
