In the 36th minute Sugih Linggawarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mano Hume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SIMvergüenzas's Beto Rodríguez got control of the ball when Arkadiusz Piatek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Utopía Muerta FC's zone, Sugih Linggawarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mano Hume came out of the goal and Sugih Linggawarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Zdeněk Kozlík threw the ball into play from the sideline. SIMvergüenzas's Severino Encina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sugih Linggawarman might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mano Hume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sugih Linggawarman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sugih Linggawarman in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match SIMvergüenzas got a corner. Utopía Muerta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Ling Zheng ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lei Ling Zheng made a great header on SIMvergüenzas's corner, it was just that Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
