Ivan Errolan might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Aguilera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Errolan ran back to his position shaking his head. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Funes Mori in the 20th minute of the match. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Errolan in the 23rd minute of play. Rejunte de perros's Borys Barys quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Venancio Sandaili, made in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Funes Mori in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rejunte de perros from getting a goal against them. Rejunte de perros's Thomás Barral was substituted for Rogelio Funes Mori. After 45 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Funes Mori. In the 46th minute of the match Andrea Pirlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Armani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Indiana Jones to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Feliciano Haritzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Armani. Rejunte de perros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Haritzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marcelo Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 59th minute of the match. Marcelo Armani came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcelo Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Thomás Barral notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera. Higinio Aguilera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Luís Fábio Rocha replaced Indiana Jones. The corner ended in Borys Barys almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera did a great save. Rejunte de perros were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cheng Qian Qiang took the corner. Rejunte de perros's Cheng Qian Qiang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Aguilera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 89th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Marcelo Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Albino Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
