In the 2nd minute Edmondo Del Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Nykvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Senna in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ♦Diabetes♦'s zone, Santiago Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Chorache came out of the goal and Santiago Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner ended in Valentin Claude almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist did a great save. 25 minutes into the match, Valentin Claude notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist. Ingvar Nykvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Silva in the 29th minute of play forced ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper Jonas Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Nykvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Milio in the 34th minute of play. Ingvar Nykvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Chorache made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Santiago Silva sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Del Monte in the 42nd minute of the match. Gustav Kock lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Milio in the 46th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Nykvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ingvar Nykvist was a little too slow when Cristiano Ronaldinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 50th minute. The score was now 0-2. Jonas Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. 方挺寒 replaced Daniel Björk. In the 66th minute, ♦Diabetes♦'s Benjamin Milio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingvar Nykvist. Ingvar Nykvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 74th minute Petros Mirtsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Silva in the 75th minute of the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ♦Diabetes♦ defense, Santiago Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Chorache. The ♦Diabetes♦ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Chorache should have stopped the shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save ΠΑΟΚ FC from getting a goal against them. The ♦Diabetes♦ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ♦Diabetes♦ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
