Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Attar in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, one of La Bichineta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. La Bichineta:s Silvestre Peli showed great skill when he stopped İrfan Attar:s penalty. Godfried Teunens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandu Vlaicu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 19th minute of play. La Bichineta's attentive Sun Yuan Zheng managed to snatch the ball when Gabriel Ursino made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Godfried Teunens might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandu Vlaicu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfried Teunens ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Godfried Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Vlaicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Aurel Beldeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Peli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gabriel Ursino got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by İrfan Attar. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Beldeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Aurel Beldeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when İrfan Attar made the kick off in the second half. Aurel Beldeanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The La Bichineta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
