Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Houdek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Silvano Portillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lex Academy's zone, Saturnino Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Houdek came out of the goal and Saturnino Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 18th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Silvano Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Lex Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Xacintu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tudor Hurezeanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomáš Houdek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otmar Schovánek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match Mats Liljeström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomáš Houdek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Bernardo Novaes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Houdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lex Academy's goalie and right to Mats Liljeström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lex Academy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 57 minutes in the game Roman Jursa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bernardo Novaes. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 59th minute of play. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Štengl in the 67th minute of the match. Silvano Portillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Novaes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Frisco in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomáš Houdek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ezequiel Lavezzi was substituted for Mats Liljeström. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Luis Frisco hit a great ball. Jerzy Marchefka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomáš Houdek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Lex Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Xacintu took the corner. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lex Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Lex Academy.
