Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Oleszak. In the 31st minute Victor Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Santxol in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Victor Santxol hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Vázquez got free with Jan Lindström in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Vázquez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Mark Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rey Ronaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lindström having to interfere. The referee ignored Surahammar's protests and gave Adrian Kodzhabashev a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Kodzhabashev hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Yu Quan Di shot a long shot in the 94th minute and a light blocked Jan Lindström hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-1.
