After 6 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Romo. Silvano Portillo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aaron Molina. After 8 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Diaz. In the 10th minute, Saturnino Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaros Kabantais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Mendebal in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Abajas came free, but Silvano Portillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Renatinho Diamant got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Silvano Portillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Abajas. 22 minutes into the game, Horacio Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Silvano Portillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, Los Materos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Los Materos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horacio Abajas in the 33rd minute. Emir Dağasan hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Silvano Portillo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Filomeno Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Los Materos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Romo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Kabantais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Mendebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Portillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Romo got free with Lazaros Kabantais in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Saturnino Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaros Kabantais was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Lazaros Kabantais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Simon Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Materos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ the free kick. Los Materos FC's Tincho Palermo was substituted for Filomeno Mendebal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. In the 69th minute, Simon Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaros Kabantais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerzy Marchefka went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lazaros Kabantais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
