Rega Merida CF's Telis Lianos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lieven Demarrez, made in the 11th minute of the game. Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Ray Kindermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MagicTeam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute, Ryan Gravenhorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Xavi van Beek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro didn't even have to move. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Jeoffrey De Prins successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeoffrey De Prins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Sârban went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nistor Sârban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeoffrey De Prins was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Rega Merida CF were furious when Ryan Gravenhorst was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rega Merida CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Xavi van Beek walked up to take care of the penalty kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Sârban was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ray Kindermans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstanty Wawro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 57 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeoffrey De Prins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, MagicTeam's Xavi van Beek tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Konstanty Wawro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ray Kindermans in the 65th minute. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MagicTeam's goalkeeper Jeoffrey De Prins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
