When Carlos Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Garcia couldn't finish the play. Super Penalitop's attentive Clodoveo Txindoki managed to snatch the ball when Kajetan Paulista made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. After some careless play in the SITIO CITY defense, Naim Cheche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Gato. The SITIO CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Gato should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naim Cheche to make the kick off. When Mauricio Jaizki came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Super Penalitop fans jumped to their feet.
