Spectators: 8149 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurențiu Pora started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute of the match, Gabriele Batistuta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cazimir Angelescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 9th minute of the match Hayalim Kedoshim got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Garfield Sau ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute of the match Lucas Martínez Quarta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cazimir Angelescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 20th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cazimir Angelescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Laurențiu Pora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Campelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cazimir Angelescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hayalim Kedoshim's Garfield Sau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Camilo Salvidor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Menchu FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garfield Sau was slow to take the kick. During this time Hayalim Kedoshim's players had a chance to rest. Hayalim Kedoshim were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garfield Sau took the corner. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 53rd minute of play. Hayalim Kedoshim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Garfield Sau in the 54th minute. Johny Konings was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Mika Garon replaced Laurențiu Pora. Hayalim Kedoshim's Carlos Puyol managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Campelo in the 61 minute of the game. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mika Garon in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mika Garon in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erhan Alp might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erhan Alp ran back to his position shaking his head. Menchu FC made a substitution. Gaston Firmo replaced Peter Söderqwist. Hanni Godines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanni Godines in the 73rd minute of the match. When Hayalim Kedoshim's Mika Garon in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menchu FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Tadeu Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Salvidor. The goal made the score 0-1. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Firmo in the 81st minute of play. Cazimir Angelescu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Carlos Campelo. But to his dismay, Carlos Campelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mika Garon in the 86th minute of play. Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Firmo in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Angelescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Menchu FC's Silverio Sergi was substituted for Armando Roland. Menchu FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
