Spectators: 7954 (Terracing: 5967, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Gao Peng Ran made a precise shot to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. KaoS Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Gao Peng Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Čolak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierluigi Buffon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pierluigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran. But to his dismay, Gao Peng Ran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Albino Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Benneborg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lluis Companys sent off a good shot on target. Zhao Bing Cheng's late challenge caught a Northland Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zhao Bing Cheng helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Bing Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Falk in the 38th minute of play. Northland Vikings were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after KaoS Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Čolak took the corner. Gao Peng Ran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Toro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Narciso Noe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Benneborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Northland Vikings from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Lebas to make the kick off. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluis Companys in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gao Peng Ran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierluigi Buffon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Gao Peng Ran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gao Peng Ran. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Hargrave in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Benicio Hartz hit a great ball. KaoS Futbol Club's Amancio Semeno was substituted for Albino Olayo. Northland Vikings's Anthony Nwakaeme was substituted for Ralf Allgöwer. KaoS Futbol Club made a substitution. Andres Baresi replaced León Ponzio. After 67 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Hartz. Narciso Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benne Benneborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Igor Lebas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Hargrave kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Narciso Noe took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 89th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierluigi Buffon was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Ture Waller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ture Waller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Northland Vikings walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
