The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Candido Hendrickx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lajos Vadász was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 43 minutes of play, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lajos Vadász was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lajos Vadász took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frederick Vereeken fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Hill United's protests and gave Frederick Vereeken a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Vereeken. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the game, Frederick Vereeken threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pilar FC's Eustacio Baldovino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 57th minute Candido Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vadász saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Hendrickx in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Vadász saved North Hill United from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Omer Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Hill United's supporters rose to their feet, but Omer Vandamme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pilar FC's Guus Koole was substituted for Cristian Jenaro. Guus Koole took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lajos Vadász. North Hill United's Lajos Vadász played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guus Koole in the 87th minute of play. Lajos Vadász came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilar FC's Luca Langoni. But to his dismay, Luca Langoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. North Hill United's Lajos Vadász played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guus Koole in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Pilar FC's Luca Langoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lajos Vadász made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
